We respect your right to privacy and keep all your health information confidential and secure. This information is only available to those involved in your care. For this reason staff may refuse to release information, particularly over the telephone, to a relative. This may occasionally appear unreasonable but it is hoped it will be recognised as being in the best interest of the patient.
