Management and the doctors at the surgery are aware and very concerned about the waiting time for routine appointments. We thought that it would settle down after appointments opened up after the pandemic but they haven’t. We are not sure why. It is true that a not small number of our consultations are managing people who are on long NHS waiting lists for secondary care, and this is going to continue. It is enough to have significantly changed our formerly good waiting times. We are working on it.
