Urgent Appointments

Please could we ask all patients if you require an urgent, on the day appointment, to try and ring the surgery between 8 – 10 am, when possible. If you ring later in the day we cannot always guarantee you will receive same day care and may advise you to contact 111.

Appointments with Doctors and Nurses are available, we are offering both face to face and telephone appointments.

Please try and avoid Mondays if you can.

If you request an urgent or same day appointment, our reception team will need you to provide basic details about the nature of your problem to ensure that you can be booked with the most appropriate clinician.

Please do not be offended if they ask, this is at the request of the GP’s and will help us to prioritise the patients that need medical care most urgently. Your request will then be triaged to the Duty Doctor who will make the decision whether you need to be spoken with/ seen that day or if it a routine appointment would be more appropriate.

Routine Appointments

We are also able to offer patients to book routine appointments with the GP for ongoing issues. Please call us on 01886 880 207 or use our online consultation tool.

On Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays we are introducing later GP appointments to try and accommodate patients who struggle to get to us in the day time. These are routine, face to face appointments which will be at 5:20 pm and are pre- bookable only. If you’d like one of these appointments please ring and ask a member of our reception team. Again, please note that these are routine appointments, not urgent.

On Monday evenings we run an enhanced access service for pre bookable face to face appointments. These are released 2 weeks in advance and are from 6:30 p.m to 7:45 p.m. These appointments are here at the surgery, with our GP’s. These sessions are for non urgent appointments only.

If you require medical advice or have a query which is not urgent, please use on online consultation tool. Here, you can send us information, photo’s, request fit notes, enquire about test results, request a doctors letter (please note there may be a charge for this service) and ask questions about referrals. These go directly to our practice staff and will be actioned within 3 working days. (Please do not use for anything urgent)

If you no longer need an appointment you have booked please ensure to cancel it. This means we will be able to offer that appointment to another patients who needs it. You can cancel appointments using your NHS app, our online consultation tool or by calling the surgery.

HRH triage appointments (Herefordshire Remote Healthcare)

We also offer HRH telephone appointments. These are clinicians in Hereford helping support the practice to help us increase our capacity and get you sorted as quickly as possible. Rest assured, they can access your notes, the same as your usual GP and are here to help our GP’s at the surgery with overwhelming pressures. The HRH clinicians are able decide whether you need medication and can offer face to face same day appointments (here at the surgery) if necessary.
